Based on personal stories, the guides take you on one and a half hour city walk. Hear powerful accounts of life on the streets involving drug use, homelessness, crime, sex work, mental vulnerability, and much more.
We offer unique walking tours led by guides who are true experts on the street. They provide an in-depth look into their lives and experiences shaped by substance abuse, homelessness, crime, and much more.
With approximately 30 guides in Copenhagen, we also operate in Odense, Aalborg, Esbjerg, and Vejle. In 2023, we conducted over 1,300 tours. As a social enterprise (non-profit), we are dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for socially vulnerable individuals.

We offer our tours in English for schools, businesses, and private groups. To book a private group tour in English, please contact us at booking@gadensstemmer.dk or by phone at +45 81 44 94 40.
Please provide the following information:
- Your organization: a school, company, or private group
- The number of participants
- The preferred date and time for the tour
Single tickets
We have English tours every Saturday in Copenhagen at 1:30 PM, where single tickets can be purchased for just 189 DKK per person (fee included). Our guided tours last 1.5 hours and include 5-6 stops along the route. They are easily accessible by metro and other public transportation.
How do I buy single tickets?
To book single tickets for our Saturday tours in Copenhagen, click “book ticket” button below. On the page, scroll down, choose “København” from the filter menu, and select your preferred Saturday on the calendar. Tours held in English will be marked with the label “English”.
